Session Description
Fortunately life is not at all perfect, so that gives us plenty of inspiration to script drama. But how to handle real traumatic issues that seem to paralyze society. They need to be out in the open and discussed. Faster than ever we adapt traumatic stories from real life into fiction. We create plots out of them for our serials and single.
The war in Afghanistan is not over when soldiers return home. Can you blame the air guide-controller for the two planes that crashed?
We try to analyze these painful experiences by means of drama. Does this collective therapy work? Are facts more interesting than original fiction nowadays? Is drama going towards factual entertainment? Whose truths are we telling with these dramas?
Keywords: Craft Issues, Dramatic responsibilities, Remit compliance, Audience Therapy, Role of PSB
